In my previous Blog Post, I left a post script that said something along the lines that making save games would become the bane of my existence. Turns out I was right. I had made this plan to get a lot done this week, fleshing out the more subtle and fun details. Instead, I spent the entire week working on being able to create a new save file, then save the save file, and finally load a game from said save file.
So far, I have got the first two working. The last one, being able to load a game, has not been going too well. I have bashed my head on this for the past week. Multiple different approaches have been attempted, all failing. I’m narrowing in on a solution, but it might be a while. For now, I need to go work on something else for a little bit. Until next blog post. Will I ever solve this seemingly simple problem?
